For five year olds and over, these lessons are organised into five grades: Timata Tahi, Tupu Tahi, Tu Tahi, Haere Tahi and Piki Tahi.
A child beginning on Timata Tahi can work their way up to Piki Tahi. Each grade is a two year cycle.
There are also certificates to be earned depending on the number of completed lessons per one year cycle.
