DECEMBER 2025 | LOOKING BACK ON 2025
As we reflect on 2025, we give heartfelt thanks and praise to the Lord for His faithfulness in leading and providing for the work of Māori Postal Aotearoa. We continue to be humbled by the way God supplies each need and opens doors for His Word to reach people across Aotearoa.
2025 has been a significant and very busy year for our team. We are grateful to report that more Gospel resources were distributed this year than at any other time in MPA’s 80-year history. The reach and impact of this past year has been unprecedented, and we give all glory to God for what He has done. (Final numbers of resources given at the bottom of this page)
One of the greatest highlights of the year was the celebration of MPA’s 80th Anniversary. It was a deeply meaningful occasion, bringing together supporters, churches, whānau, and friends to give thanks for eight decades of Gospel ministry. The celebration served as a powerful reminder of God’s sustaining hand over MPA since 1945, and of the many lives touched through His Word during that time.
We remain deeply thankful for our dedicated team and volunteers, whose commitment and faithfulness make this work possible. We also acknowledge, with sincere appreciation, the wisdom and support of our Governance Board. Their guidance and stewardship ensure that MPA remains focused on its mission and well equipped to continue providing resources freely, as the Gospel itself is a free gift.
As we look ahead, we do so with gratitude, confidence, and trust in the Lord, praying that He will continue to guide and direct every step.
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
Psalm 119:105

AUGUST 2025 | CELEBRATION MPA 80 YEARS OF MISSION
On Saturday 16 August, we gathered to celebrate a very special milestone — 80 years of mission for Māori Postal Aotearoa. What began as a simple vision to reach whānau across Aotearoa with the hope of the Gospel has grown into generations of lives touched, homes transformed, and hearts drawn closer to Christ.
We opened the day with a beautiful pōwhiri, acknowledging the significance of the journey that has brought us to this moment. It was a time of honour and reflection — recognising the many faithful people who have sown into this work through prayer, service, generosity, and steadfast belief in what Ihowā is doing among our people.
The day was filled with hāngī, powerful testimonies, and heartfelt sharing from our National Directors. Story after story reminded us that this ministry has never been about one organisation or one generation, but about the enduring faithfulness of Ihowā — at work yesterday, today, and into the days still to come.
We extend a special mihi to our honoured guest, Ken Forster, who has journeyed alongside this kaupapa for many years. Your presence was deeply appreciated. To our dedicated team who served quietly and faithfully behind the scenes — thank you. And to every person who chose to stand with us on this day — your support and aroha mean more than words can express.
What a day to remember, and what a privilege it is to be part of His work in Aotearoa. As we look ahead, we do so with gratitude, expectation, and trust — confident that the same Ihowā who has guided Māori Postal Aotearoa for the past 80 years will continue to lead us forward.
